MP348 Fixed Tooth Mulcher for Power Take Off on a Tractor

The 300 series is our most light weight fixed tooth masticating head brush mulcher for 3-point hitch tractors. With low ground speed the MP348 brush mulcher will efficiently cut heavy vegetation and light brush using high speed teeth. The concave shaped carbide tip provides aggressive brush mulching action by chipping the brush bit by bit. Part of the secret of their performance is the ease of rotating the teeth so there is always a sharp edge to make mulching easier.
The direct drive of a brush mulcher on the PTO of a tractor is the most efficient way to run a brush mulcher and if you check our brush cutting size charts you will see that the slower you can travel the bigger material you can handle.

HIGH SPEED TEETH

The concave shaped carbide tip of our High Speed Teeth provide aggressive cutting action by chipping the brush bit by bit. This round tooth is 3 teeth in 1. Simply loosen the lock nut and rotate the tooth to a fresh, sharp cutting edge. This can be done three times, extending the life of each tooth.

6 FREE TEETH

All MP348 Brush Mulchers comes with a free set of 6 replacement teeth. These replacement teeth are conveniently shipped in the owner’s manual tube bolted to the frame.

For smoother mulching, the spiral tool pattern allows one tooth to engage at a time.

Slip Clutch

To protect the gearbox and drive sytem, Baumalight PTO Mulchers come with a slip clutch. Automatically disengaging the clutch at a predetermined torque.

Heavy Duty Gearbox

Heavy duty gearbox for high performance and better mulching power and long life.

Reinforced Belt

A heavy duty reinforced belt delivers the force from the gear box to the rotor. This offers protection from the shocks inherent in mulching.

Wire Protection Kit

Protective steel cover that prevents damage from wire fencing.

Powdered Coated

Our powder coat finish is much tougher than conventional paint to stand up to the rigors of mulching and helps prevent rusting.
